Ruffian Miniature Stretch Goal is Met!
over 4 years ago – Mon, Nov 18, 2019 at 08:13:21 PM

We've just met the stretch goal target for the ruffian miniature and we're headed for the next goal, a peg-in bay window. This window is the second key piece for creating a completely customized city (along with the door), kind of like a dungeon-tile set but with larger modular "chunks," if that makes sense. Also, we're going to announce a free gift some time this afternoon, and update the list of future stretch goals as well. So stay tuned for an exciting day of city-adventuring developments!

A Quick Video About Modularity
over 4 years ago – Mon, Nov 18, 2019 at 02:25:57 PM

We've had several questions about how modular the various Jordoba pieces are, so I (Matt) put together a highly-amateurish video showing how the pieces all work together to build a super-cool labyrinthine maze of streets and alleyways. Hope you enjoy, and apologies for the lighting and such. :)

Feel free to share the link to the video around on social media -- there are only a couple of days left to go. Here's the link, with the copy-paste link below.

Another Stretch Goal in the Bag!
over 4 years ago – Mon, Nov 18, 2019 at 08:14:00 AM

We've just met the goal for the pegged-in bay window, which dramatically advances the city's modularity. The Kickstarter now allows you enough pieces and enough interchangeability to create the kind of hive-like, labyrinthine city one expects to find in a world of magic and mayhem. There's a lot more to come, and the speed of peoples' pledging will increase now that we are in the last 4 days of the Kickstarter. Next stretch goal up is a miniature of a beggar - beggars are a prime information source in a city, and characters should keep up the best information network they can!

Free Gift for All!
over 4 years ago – Sun, Nov 17, 2019 at 03:36:02 PM

We've posted a free book (pdf) of Mission-Generation tables for city adventuring, with various mention of how to do them on tabletop using the pieces from the Jordoba Kickstarter (and city terrain in general). The tables are system-neutral but generally fantasy-game oriented. Anyone can download the pdf, not just backers. Enjoy!

Wagon Yard Stretch Goal Achieved!
over 4 years ago – Sun, Nov 17, 2019 at 03:34:45 PM

We have passed the $11,000 mark, which means that the wagon yard building is now a part of the Kickstarter's rewards. The next stretch goal we're trying to reach is the first miniature to go out in the stretch goals, the ruffian!
