Latest Updates from Our Project:

All Files Are Now Available!
over 4 years ago – Sun, Jan 19, 2020 at 10:08:35 PM

Although there will definitely still be troubleshooting (see a note about 2 file names below), we have now uploaded and distributed all of the add-ons and stretch goals to Backer Kit. Hooray for fulfillment!

Many thanks to Mike Cowls, who identified that two files are misnamed in the Core Den of Thieves. The ground floors are located in Buildings D and E, both of them incorrectly identified as second floors. We'll fix those file names now that we're done with the Backer Kit distributions.

Backer Kit Locked and Core Sets Delivered
over 4 years ago – Fri, Jan 10, 2020 at 06:36:50 PM

Assuming all the technology has worked properly, everyone who filled out the Backer Kit survey has now been delivered the Core Sets -- Core Sets only at this moment. The backer kit is locked, and cards have been charged.

We will begin uploading and distributing stretch goals and add-ons as they are ready, so if you want to download all at once, you might want to hold off for a few days. If you want to get started on the core sets, those should (fingers crossed) be ready for you to download.

Backer Kit Locks and Core Sets Available Tomorrow
over 4 years ago – Thu, Jan 09, 2020 at 03:09:07 PM

We are planning on locking the Backer Kit tomorrow, which will allow people to begin downloading their core sets. At the moment many of the stretch goals are completed but not yet uploaded to Backer Kit, and the same with the Add-ons. We will be adding these to your accounts as we go, so if you want to wait for the full, everything-there delivery you may want to wait a few days before downloading. If you want to start immediately with printing your core sets, you will be able to get them immediately after we lock the Backer Kit. We don't yet have an estimate on the exact time tomorrow that we'll lock.

Progress Report - Getting Close
over 4 years ago – Wed, Jan 08, 2020 at 11:31:09 PM

We have finished uploading the Core Set files to Backer Kit, and the next step is to connect those files with the orders people place (e.g., if someone ordered just the Den of Thieves, they get all the Den of Thieves files). This should only take a couple of days at most. We won't close and lock the Backer Kit until the delivery is set up for the Core sets, but we're looking at only two or three days until that's set up, now that the uploading is finished. We also have almost all of the stretch goals ready to upload, so some of the stretch goal files may also be available as soon as we close Backer Kit.

A lot of this is probably way more information than the average backer is interested in, since we're into the slightly technical, clerical part of the fulfillment details -- but we wanted everyone to know that the advance continues.

Add-Ons vs. Stretch Goals
over 4 years ago – Fri, Dec 27, 2019 at 01:10:14 AM

There's some confusion over the difference between the stretch goals and the add-ons that show up in Backer Kit. The stretch goals for the All-in level are already included in that pledge level. The add-ons are different -- they were planned as stretch goals and are now available for sale at a discount from what their retail prices will be. Since the Kickstarter, like most crowdfunding in October through November, did poorly relative to expectations, we have a bunch of pieces that resulted in no compensation to Iain since they weren't offset by rising pledge levels. By offering those for sale as extra items, we have a chance to bring Iain's compensation up to the level it would have been if the Kickstarter had performed more in line with expectations. So anything listed as an add-on is extra, and not included in the All-in pledge level. Your pledge level, though, already contains all the unlocked stretch goals, which is why they don't appear as add-ons. But you don't have to take any extra action to receive the stretch goals we unlocked during the campaign.
